Jalandhar December 2 (Jaswinder Singh Azad)- The NSS Unit, in collaboration with the Red Ribbon Club of Hans Raj Mahila Maha Vidayalaya, Jalandhar, organized an awareness programme to observed World AIDS Day under the able guidance of Principal Dr. (Mrs.) Ekta Khosla. On this occasion, a pledge was taken followed by an Awareness Rally aiming to educate the community about prevention, care and the importance of eliminating stigma related to AIDS. Around 100 volunteers participated in this program.
Principal Dr. Ekta Khosla emphasized the need for awareness, compassion, and responsible behaviour to build a healthy society. Ms. Harmanu, NSS Incharge and Dr. Deepali, Incharge Red Ribbon Club also shared their views of understanding the realities of AIDS and encouraged students to participate actively in such awareness campaigns. Mrs. Arvinder Kaur, School Coordinator, Mrs. Satinder Kaur Member NSS, Dr. Sandeep, Member Red Ribbon Club, Ms. Sukritii, Ms. Anju and Ms. Muskaan were also present and extended their support to make the event successful.
