Jalandhar April 13 (Jaswinder Singh Azad)- Under the dynamic leadership of Principal Prof. Dr. (Mrs) Ajay Sareen HMV Collegiate Sr. Sec. School is adding one after the other milestones. Recently, the school has been declared as the Green School by CSE, India for contributing immensely in sustainable development. Keeping this string of success in continuation, the students of 10+1 of HMV Collegiate School secured top positions in various streams.
In 10+1, commerce, Palak Summan secured the first position with 96.6%, Tania secured the second position with 94.4% and Anamika attained the third position with 93.8%. In 10+1, Humanities Komalpreet kaur attained the first position with 96.2%, Prabhjot Kaur secured the second position with 92.6% and Khushi achieved the third position with 90.2 %. In 10+1, Science, with 93 % Shrishti Kumar got the first position, with 91.8 % Ranchita Sharma achieved the second position and with 91.4% , Ishmeet Kaur secured the third position.
Havan is organized in the college
Principal Prof. Dr. (Mrs.) Ajay Sareen and School Coordinator Dr Seema Marwaha, School Co- Coordinator Mrs Arvinder Kaur congratulated the students, and encouraged them to perform better in future. Principal Dr. Sareen said that this institution not only encourages the students to perform well in academics but in social, cultural, moral and spiritual field too. Keeping this objective in mind, weekly Havan is organized in the college so that the students can learn not only academic qualities but moral values too and can contribute in the making of a healthy society. In addition, regular PTM’s are organized.
The school coordinator Dr Seema Marwaha said that various skills of the students are developed through Quiz, Group discussion, writing competitions, sports competitions and various other activities. Students also get a chance to participate in English, Science, Commerce, Mathematics Olympiads so that they can achieve newer heights at International, National, and regional level. This institution is known at National as well as international level because of so many achievements in various fields. School Co-coordinator Mrs Arvinder Kaur said that HMV Collegiate is committed for the holistic growth of young learners embedded with knowledge, skills, values and attitudes.
