Jalandhar March 19 (Jaswinder Singh Azad)- Zoology Department in collaboration with Synergy Pathology Lab., under DBT Star Scheme organized ‘Health Check up Camp’ under the able guidance of Principal Prof. Dr. (Mrs.) Ajay Sareen aiming to promote health awareness and early detection of potential health issues. A team of Lab. Staff members from Synergy Pathology Lab. conducted various essential health tests including physical examination, blood group determination, blood pressure and hemoglobin (Hb) estimation, blood sugar level testing, and other basic diagnostic tests.
Dr. Karishma Goyal, MD Pathology accompanied the team and provided expert counselling on healthy lifestyle choices, disease prevention, and general well-being. The camp catered to a diverse group, including teaching and non-teaching staff, supportive staff, mess and canteen members, and students, ensuring widespread participation and benefit. The event got an enthusiastic response, with many attendees gaining valuable insights into their health conditions and receiving personalized medical advice.
Principal Prof. Dr. (Mrs.) Ajay Sareen appreciated the efforts of Zoology Department and wished good Health and Happiness to all. Dean Academics and Head of Zoology Department, Dr. Seema Marwaha extended gratitude to Dr. Deeksha Chaudhary, Director Synergy Pathology Lab. and the staff members for their invaluable support in making this event successful. The camp was coordinated by Dr. Sakshi Verma and Mr. Ravi Kumar, assistant Professors in Zoology Department. Lab. Peon Mr. Sachin assisted in overall lab setting and making arrangements for the camp.
