Jalandhar December 24 (Jaswinder Singh Azad)- A seven day special NSS camp is going on in the premises of Hans Raj Mahila Maha Vidyalaya Jalandhar and in continuation with it, the fourth day this camp was organized in the leadership of Principal Prof. Dr. (Mrs.) Ajay Sareen. The fourth day of the seven-day special camp was dedicated to the efforts of drug-free India. Volunteers took out a rally for drug-free India in Village Gilan and made the villagers aware of the diseases caused by drugs.
A Poster Making Competition was organized on the topic of drug-free India in which Dr. Shailendra of Fine Arts Department played the role of Judge. Under the Cleanliness campaign, volunteers cleaned the Eco Park of the college. Programme Officer Dr. Veena Arora described the drug addiction as a curse of the society and inspired the youth to stay away from it. On this occasion, Dr. Jyoti Gogia, Ms. Harmanu, Dr. Balwinder and Mr. Parminder Singh were also present in the camp.
