Farewell 2025 for Comp. Sci. and Commerce Students Organized at HMV

Farewell

Jalandhar April 23 (Jaswinder Singh Azad)- Hans Raj Mahila Maha Vidyalaya, Jalandhar organized a nostalgic Farewell Party ‘Launching Stars into the Sky’ 2025, for the final year students of Computer Science and Commerce. The occasion was conducted successfully under the direction and leadership of dexterous Principal Prof. Dr. (Mrs.) Ajay Sareen. The event commenced with lighting the holy lamp and following the DAV Gaan. The overall incharges of the event were Mr. Gurmeet Singh, Mr. Pradeep Mehta and Mrs. Shefali Kashyap. The chief guests of the occasion were Dean Youth Welfare Dr. Navroop and Dean Academics Dr. Seema Marwaha. Mr. Gurmeet Singh welcomed the guests and the judges of the event with green planters.

In her message, Principal Dr. Sareen blessed all the students present over there and wished for their successful career ahead. Principal Sareen advised students to participate positively in the welfare of society. The students made the occasion memorable. Students of Undergraduate and Postgraduate classes presented captivating performances through Dance, Music, Singing, and Modelling. Dr. Gagandeep, Dr. Ramandeep and Ms. Mukti Arora as judges for the event. On the basis of their performances, students were judged and they were presented various titles and awards.

Ms. Jiya was awarded with the title of Ms. Technophile

Among the students of Undergraduate classes, Ms. Nitika was given the title of Ms. Farewell, while Ms. Kamalpreet Kaur and Ms. Gurleen Kaur were awarded with first and second runner up respectively. In addition, Ms. Jiya was awarded with the title of Ms. Technophile, while Ms. Janhvi was awarded with Ms. Magnate. Among the students of Postgraduate classes, Ms. Diksha was entitled with Ms. Farewell, while Ashveen Kaur and Palak became successful for attaining the position of first and second runner up respectively.

In addition, Ms. Prabjot Kaur was given the title of Ms. Tech Fairy, while Ms. Jasjit Kaur was awarded the title of Ms. Biz Girl. Following the tradition of HMV, senior students passed on the flame, a symbol of knowledge, wisdom and guidance to their juniors with hope of carrying forward the pride and legacy of HMV. The stage was conducted by Dr. Jaspreet Kaur and Mrs. Anchal Mahajan and by the students of Student Council. Mr. Pradeep Mehta delivered a vote of thanks at the end of the event. On this occasion, the faculty members of Computer Science department and Commerce department were also present.
