Jalandhar November 28 (Jaswinder Singh Azad)- Dr. Mohinder Kumar Mastana, Professor of Department of Sculpture of Apeejay College of Fine Arts, Jalandhar has been recently awarded with Punjab Pradesh Award in an exhibition organized by KT Kala (Kausa Trust, Amritsar).
This exhibition included painting, sculpture, photography, digital art from all over Punjab, in which more than 400 artworks were received, out of which 160 artworks were included in the exhibition and the artworks of the best 10 special artists were selected and they were awarded the Punjab Pradesh Award along with the cash prizes.
This exhibition was inaugurated by Padam Shri Harmohinder Singh Bedi, Chancellor, Central University, Himachal Pradesh.
Principal Dr. Neerja Dhingra congratulated him and encouraged him to keep up with the good work. She said that the aim of Dr Stya Paul, (Founder Chairman, Apeejay Education) and Mrs. Sushma Paul Berlia (President, Apeejay Stya&Svran Group; Chairperson, Apeejay Education, Chancellor, Apeejay Stya University) has always been to preserve and develop fine arts.
Dr. Dhingra also said that few days ago, Dr. Mastana had also made his mark with his exceptional work by participating in Jehangir Art Gallery, Mumbai.
