The students were made aware of the importance of the Indian Constitution.

As per the directions of the Punjab State Legal Services Authority, students from classes 7 to 9 were informed about the preamble of the Constitution and were asked to uphold the sovereignty, secularism, and dignity of India’s democratic republic. Students of classes 7 and 8 took an oath to faithfully follow the Constitution and vowed to always be ready to defend the nation’s democracy.

For the students of class 9, a mock Parliament session was organized where they expressed their views on the Agricultural Laws Bill and the New Education Policy of 2020. The students participated as members of different political parties, engaging in debates as both government and opposition MPs.

The Head of the Social Science Department informed the students about the articles of the Constitution and acquainted them with its provisions in detail.
