Jalandhar August 27 (Jaswinder Singh Azad)- For the very first time, the Chandigarh Lalit Kala Akademi, in collaboration with Rajeshwari Kala Sangam and Dr. Stya Paul Art Gallery, Virsa Vihar, is organizing its Annual Art Exhibition in Jalandhar. The week-long exhibition will run from August 30 to September 6, 2025, from 11:00 AM to 7:00 PM daily.
The exhibition will be inaugurated on August 30, 2025, at 3:30 PM by Mrs. Dhanpreet Kaur (IPS), Commissioner of Police, Jalandhar.
Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Sucharita Sharma, Director, Apeejay Education, said that the Founder Chairman of Apeejay Education, Dr. Stya Paul, was deeply committed to the promotion of fine arts and worked with the vision of bringing art closer to society. His legacy is being carried forward by his daughter, Mrs. Sushma Paul Berlia, Chairperson, Apeejay Education and Apeejay Stya & Svran Group, and Chancellor of Apeejay Stya University, who continues to make significant contributions towards the preservation and promotion of Indian fine arts. This exhibition, too, is a result of her inspiration, encouragement, and foresight.
Mr. Bhim Malhotra, President, Chandigarh Lalit Kala Akademi, and Dr. Sucharita Sharma shared that the exhibition will feature a vibrant confluence of artworks by both senior and young artists from the Tricity—Chandigarh, Mohali, and Panchkula.
Art lovers will have the opportunity to witness a diverse range of artistic forms including paintings, sculptures, digital art, graphic prints, and photography. While some works will highlight the charm and beauty of nature, others will reflect upon contemporary social issues—making this a rich and meaningful experience for audiences.
This landmark exhibition is set to be a golden opportunity for Jalandhar’s art enthusiasts, offering them a chance to explore multiple art forms under one roof.
