Indian Constitution is appreciated all over the world: Dr. Kalyan
Jalandhar November 30 (Jaswinder Singh Azad)- A seminar on Constitution Day was organized by the Baba Jiwan Singh Ji Welfare Youth Club under the Youth Services Department and the Parliamentary Affairs Department of Punjab, Government of India, in collaboration with My Bharat Jalandhar at the Government College of Education. The event was held under the supervision of the Executive Principal of the college, Dr. Jagjit Kaur. On this occasion, Inderpal Singh Teji, Law Officer of the Punjab Police Rural Department, Jalandhar, was present as the Chief Guest, while Advocate Arpana Nahar and Yuvraj Singh, Assistant Legal Advisor from the District Legal Services Authority (DLSA), were present as Special Guests.
The ceremony was inaugurated by lighting the lamp. Floral tributes were paid to Bharat Ratna Dr. B. R. Ambedkar, the architect of the Constitution. The main speaker of the seminar, Advocate Sonal, provided detailed information about the importance of the Constitution and the legal rights it ensures. She said that the Indian Constitution stands on four pillars—justice, liberty, equality, and fraternity.

On this occasion, the Chief Guest, Mr. Teji, appreciated the social work being done under the leadership of the Club President, Kirti Kant Kalyan. Former District Ayurvedic Officer Dr. Surinder Kalyan informed the students about the life of Baba Saheb Bhim Rao Ambedkar and said that the Indian Constitution is appreciated all over the world. Advocate Amina Khatun also expressed her views. From the Municipal Corporation, CF West Madam Suman Jugal and CF North Madam Amandeep Kaur participated in the program.
The stage was moderated by college students Himanshi and Shivani. During the event, a pledge was taken to respect the Constitution and uphold the honor of the nation. Accounts and Program Assistant Gaurav Chugh, MTS Kulwinder Singh, Professor Ritika Chaudhary Saini, NSS Unit Incharge Professor Priyanka Agnihotri, Professor Kirandeep Kaur, Professor Prabhdeep Kaur, Professor Rajesh Sharma, Dr. Shreshta Sharma, Kamaljit Singh, Rohit Bhatia, Seema Subh, and others were present on behalf of Mai Bharat Jalandhar.
