Apeejay College of Fine Arts Students Win Bronze Medal at Punjab Fencing Association Championship

Jalandhar November 19 (Jaswinder Singh Azad)- Students of Apeejay College of Fine Arts, Jalandhar have consistently demonstrated excellence in academics, cultural activities, and sports. Continuing this legacy, the college received an opportunity to showcase its sporting talent at the Senior Punjab State Fencing Championship (Men & Women) 2025–26, organized by the Punjab Fencing Association at Guru Nanak Dev University.

Asees Kaur, a student of BCA 5th Semester, and Jagseerat Kaur, a student of M.Voc Digital Marketing 1st Semester, delivered an exceptional performance in the Senior Épée category and secured the Bronze Medal.

Principal Dr. Neerja Dhingra expressed immense pride in their achievement. She said that she is delighted to see the students of the college excelling not only in academics and cultural activities but also in sports with equal dedication. She congratulated both the students and encouraged them to continue working hard so that they may bring home a Gold Medal in the future.

She also appreciated the sincere efforts of Mr. Sahil Mahey, Faculty of Department of Physical Education, for guiding the students and encouraged him to continue mentoring young talent with the same enthusiasm.
