Jalandhar November 14 (Jaswinder Singh Azad)- The students of Apeejay College of Fine Arts, Jalandhar continue to bring pride to the institution by excelling in every field. Continuing this legacy, Harmehar Singh Lali, a fifth-semester student of Bachelor of Design, has made the college proud by winning two gold medals and one silver medal at the Asian Shooting Championship held in Kazakhstan.
He secured gold medals in the Skeet Shooting Junior Team (Men) and Skeet Shooting Junior Mixed Team events, along with a silver medal in the Skeet Shooting Junior Men Individual category. His remarkable performance not only brought glory to the college but also made his parents proud.
Earlier, representing his team at the International Sports Shooting Federation Junior World Cup held in New Delhi, Harmehar achieved fourth place.
Dr. NeerjaDhingra congratulated Harmehar Singh Lali on his outstanding achievements, expressing immense pride in him. She wished him continued success and excellence in skeet shooting, hoping he would keep making the nation proud at international levels.
She also appreciated the sincere efforts of Mr. Sahil Mahey, faculty of Department of Physical Education, for guiding and mentoring Harmehar towards this success.
