Jalandhar March 1 (Jaswinder Singh Azad)- Apeejay College of Fine Arts, Jalandhar, showcased its creative prowess at the Media Fest 2025, organized by Khalsa College, Amritsar. The event featured a diverse range of competitions, including RJ, Ad Mad Show, Dance, Poetry, Reel Making, and Short Movie etc.
The students of ACFA emerged as top performers, securing top positions in various events.
In Photography, Samita from BFA bagged the1st position while Babit, Aryaman, Samita, and Moksh clinched the 1st position for yet another competition Ad Mad Show. Students from Multi Media department Kunal, Harmeet, Harnoor Singh, and Manitraj Kushal bagged 2nd position for their short movie.
Whereas Jahnavi Aggarwal from BJMC 2nd semester secured 2nd position in Radio Jockeying and Aditya from B.Voc was placed in 3rd position for Reel Making.
Students demonstrated exceptional talent and creativity, impressing the judges with their innovative ideas and skills. The event provided a platform for students to showcase their artistic abilities, fostering a spirit of healthy competition and camaraderie.
Principal Dr. Neerja Dhingra congratulated the students for their success and encouraged them to showcase their talent in the other competitions as well. Citing the importance of participation in such competitions, Dr. Dhingra emphasized the necessity of practical exposure which provides students the required platform and boosts their confidence and creativity. She also acknowledged the guidance and support provided to students by Mr. Mohit Rubel and Ms. Ritu Sohal of Department of Journalism and Mass Communication.
