Jalandhar May 13 (Jaswinder Singh Azad)- Apeejay College of Fine Arts, Jalandhar paid tribute to Mrs. Rajeshwari Paul Ji on her 12th Death anniversary. On this occasion, Mrs. Sushma Paul Berlia, Chancellor, Apeejay Stya University, Chairman, Apeejay Education, Chairman, Apeejay Stya & Svran Group said that Mrs. Rajeshwari Paul Ji was a determined woman who was far ahead of her times. She had an expertise in fine arts, singing, dancing and the desire to introduce it to the masses.
It was she who had inspired Dr. Stya Paul Ji to establish Rajeshwari Kala Sangam which is today flourishing and touching greater heights by the name of Apeejay College of Fine Arts, Jalandhar. The college is known for preserving heritage and culture and imbibing cultural roots in young generation.
Principal Dr. Neerja Dhingra expressing her views on this occasion, said that if we preserve the heritage that she has handed over to us and pass it on to the young generation and connect them with the development of fine arts then that will be our real tribute to her. She added that Rajeshwari Paul Ji’s determination to attain progress in every field had encouraged and inspired Dr. Stya Paul ji to promote of fine arts.
On this occasion, Dr. Vivek Verma from Department of Music paid melodious tribute to Rajeshwari Paul ji by reciting her favourite bhajans. Dr. Dhingra and all the faculty members paid tribute to Rajeshwari Paul ji.
