Jalandhar May 16 (Jaswinder Singh Azad)- Apeejay College of Fine Arts, Jalandhar organised a grand valedictory ceremony for the successful culmination of its 3- week free Skill Enhancement Classes conducted for the students who had recently completed their 12th standard.

The event reflected the institution’s unwavering commitment towards holistic education, personality development, and skill-oriented learning.
Addressing the gathering, Principal Dr. Neerja Dhingra stated that ACFA has consistently moved ahead on the path of excellence while preserving India’s rich cultural heritage under the visionary guidance of Founder Chairman Dr. Stya Paul Ji. She highlighted that the progressive vision and dynamic leadership of Mrs. Sushma Paul Berlia, Chairperson, Apeejay Education and Apeejay Stya & Svran Group and Chancellor, Apeejay Stya University, along with Dr. Neha Berlia, Co-owner and Director, Family Business Board, Apeejay Stya & Svran Group and Lead – Education Vertical Office Bearer, have continuously empowered the institution to provide value-based as well as technologically advanced education.

In her inspiring address, Dr. Dhingra remarked, “Real growth begins the moment young minds step beyond the boundaries of comfort and familiarity. Skill enhancement is not merely about learning techniques; it is about discovering one’s voice, confidence, creativity, and leadership potential. The confidence and passion displayed by the students today clearly reflect the emergence of future leaders and responsible global citizens.”
She further shared that in 2024, the college was honoured with the prestigious ‘Best Institute for Excellence in Higher Education and Skill Enhancement’ award presented jointly by ON Education and Acer, which stands testimony to the institution’s dedication towards academic and skill excellence.
The programme commenced with the presentation of the Thought of the Day by Vanya. Students including Saina, Eshika, Tanmay, Sahar, and Arnima shared their experiences and expressed that the Skill Enhancement Classes had significantly boosted their confidence and provided meaningful direction for their future careers. They also appreciated the positive environment of the college and the warmth and encouragement extended by the faculty members, which helped transform their personalities and outlook towards life.

Ms. Rajni Kumar from the Department of Design acquainted the students with the remarkable achievements of the college and emphasised that the institution continues to excel in academics, cultural activities and sports, while remaining committed to sustaining its distinguished legacy in the future.
Ananya, Japji, Gurneet, and Simran efficiently conducted the stage proceedings and contributed significantly towards the success of the event.
