Jalandhar August 26 (Jaswinder Singh Azad)- Students of Apeejay College of Fine Arts, Jalandhar, brought laurels to the institution by securing the third position in the Punjabi Attire Competition organized by Guru Nanak Dev University.
This year, Guru Nanak Dev University is celebrating its Golden Jubilee Convocation dedicated to Punjab, Punjabi, and Punjabiyat. As part of the celebrations, the University conducted a Punjabi Attire Competition on the theme “Punjabi Virsa and Maa Boli Punjabi” for all its affiliated colleges. A total of 27 colleges participated in the event.
From Apeejay College, Ms. Gurnit Kaur Nijjar (Department of Multimedia) and Mr. Jastej Singh (Department of Commerce) took part in the competition. Displaying remarkable presentation, Jastej Singh secured the third position, making the College proud.
