Jalandhar November 11 (Jaswinder Singh Azad)- Innocent Hearts School, Kapurthala Road organized an educational visit under Chetna Project, a multifaceted initiative to provide students and teachers with practical life skills and knowledge about government functions. This visit was for the students of Grades VIII, IX and X to the Deputy Commissioner’s Office, Employment Exchange, and RTO Office as part of their career awareness program. During the visit to the DC Office, the students had the unique opportunity to interact with the officials and asked thought-provoking questions about administration, governance, and public services.
The officers appreciated their curiosity and guided them about the working structure of various departments. At the Employment Exchange, students gained valuable insights into the different government initiatives and schemes that help individuals find suitable employment opportunities. They learned about various ways to register, skill-development programs, and career options available through the exchange.
The visit to the RTO Office further enriched their understanding as they were briefed about the process of issuing driving licenses, vehicle registration, and road safety measures. Overall, the visit proved to be a highly informative and inspiring experience. It helped students understand the functioning of government offices and explore various career and employment avenues available to them in the future.
