Jalandhar March 20 (Jaswinder Singh Azad)- The MAC FORUM of PG Department of Commerce and Management of Apeejay College of Fine Arts, Jalandhar in collaboration with Amrit Malwa Capital Limited organized Internship drive for students of B.Com. and BBA.
Principal Dr. Neerja Dhingra said that this ainternship drive will increase the confidence of the students and also expand their knowledge of their field. She added that when students work through this internship, they learn the practical aspects of their subject like Accounting. Also, the students understand the concepts of Finance, Human resources, loans, e-filing in detail.
Amrit Malwa Capital Limited is owned by Gurusahaj Gill, an alumnus of Apeejay College. Mr. Gill said that our company is the largest company in the non-banking financial corporation sector of North India and our aim is that the students of Apeejay College should earn money along with learning work. Ms. Kanika, Head, HR, Amrit Malwa Capital, interviewed the selected students, took information from them about their interests and provided them internship opportunities as per their interest.
Dr. Dhingra appreciated the efforts of Dr. Monica Arora, Head, Department of Commerce and Ms Garima Arora, Incharge of MAC FORUM, for organizing the internship drive.
