Jalandhar January 26 (Jaswinder Singh Azad)- Apeejay College of Fine Arts, Jalandhar unfurled tricolour flag on the occasion of 76th Republic Day at Apeejay College of Fine Arts, Jalandhar.
Principal Dr. Neerja Dhingra, faculty members and students enthusiastically became the part of these celebrations and expressed their regard and respect for the National flag and Constitution of India which established India as a Sovereign, Socialist, Secular and Democratic Republic.
The students and faculty also sang the National anthem and immersed in patriotism.
Opining her views on Republic Day celebrations, Principal Dr. Neerja Dhingra said that National festivals certainly hold a special place in our life and it is essential to make today’s youth its active part. This leads to the feeling of unity and brotherhood amongst everyone and they realise the necessity and importance of being a responsible and good citizen and at the same time pay regards to those who made this day possible.
