Jalandhar December 14 (Jaswinder Singh Azad)- To develop the sportsman spirit, ethical qualities, and emotional maturity within students, Department of IT, Lyallpur Khalsa College Technical Campus organized inter department Badminton Tournament for girls. The event was a great success as the participants came in huge numbers and with greater enthusiasm. It was a wonderful display of talent.
Participants took up the challenge and gave their best when it mattered the most. Huge crowd gathered to support the contestants. Priyanka Kumar of B.tech (CSE) -5TH Semester got first prize in tournament. Harshita of B.tech (CSE) -1st got 2nd prize and Navdeep Kaur of B.Tech (CSE)-1st Semester got third prize in tournament.
Sr. Sukhbir Singh Chatha (Director, Academic Affairs) applauded the efforts of participants and faculty members for organizing successful event. He stated that sports activities plays a vital role in human life and every organization must promote these activities.
Dr. R. S Deol (Director, LKCTC) and Dr. Nidhi Chopra (HoD-IT) appreciated the winners with trophies and stated that every student should participate in indoor or outdoor games to enhance positive attitude, integrity, physical fitness and mental alertness in human life.
