Jalandhar November 15 (Jaswinder Singh Azad)- PCM SD Collegiate Senior Secondary School, Jalandhar celebrated Children’s Day with a vibrant celebration of youthful energy and athletic enthusiasm by organizing a series of engaging sports competitions.
The students of Classes XI and XII showcased remarkable zeal, embodying the true spirit of camaraderie and sportsmanship. Addressing the students, the School In-Charge, Mrs. Sushma Sharma, encouraged them to embrace every opportunity to participate in such events, emphasizing that these platforms are stepping stones to uncover their latent talents and refine their athletic prowess. She extended her heartfelt congratulations to all the students on this special occasion.
The event witnessed spirited competitions where the students of Class XI emerged victorious in Kho Kho, demonstrating impeccable teamwork and strategy. In the Lemon and Spoon Race, Tanu (Class XI) claimed the first position, Srishti (Class XI) secured second, and Riya (Class XII) finished third.
In the Three-Legged Race, Bhavana and Inshaira (Class XII) earned them the top spot, followed by Himani and Deepali (Class XII) in second place and Supreet and Taranjit (Class XI) in third.
President Shri NareshBudhia, Senior Vice President Shri Vinod Dada, esteemed members of the Managing Committee, and Principal Prof. (Dr.) Pooja Prashar graced the occasion with their presence. They felicitated the winners and commended the Department of Physical Education for orchestrating such a memorable and dynamic celebration.
