Jalandhar April 11 (Jaswinder Singh Azad)- Apeejay College of Fine Arts, Jalandhar felicitated the Advanced Learners of Session 2023-24. The students who had performed exceptionally well and grabbed the top 3 positions in Mid Term Examinations held in College were honoured with the certificates.
On this occasion, Shivanshi Khanna of B.Com Sem 6th shared with the august gathering that how over the years, MSTs have helped her to ace the University examinations and also made her University topper. Another student, Diya Talwar of BFA Semester 2nd emphasised the fact that MSTs helped to face her fear of examinations and smoothed the transition of being a student of school to a student of college and also prepared her before hand for the Final University exams.
The students of BBA Semester 4th – Archa and Ritika gave a presentation where they along with congratulating the students on their current achievement of being the College toppers motivated and encouraged them further to become University toppers in the future. They highlighted the importance consisitency, perseverance, good company, relentless efforts, positive attitude and the spirt to achieve something in life and touching greater heights.
Ms. Neeru Mahajan also addressed the students and shared with them the mantra of success
Ms. Neeru Mahajan (Assistant Prof, Department of Commerce) also addressed the students and shared with them the mantra of success and attaing their life goals quoting motivational words of Swami Vivekananda, APJ Abdul Kalam etc.
Principal Dr. Neerja addressing the Advanced Learners who had performed diligently in Mid Term Examinations 2023-24 said, “This achievement of yours is a very brief milestone attained and the journey ahead is very long for which they must be prepared.” She congratulated and admired them for being sincere and taking even the Internal examinations as well seriously and recognising the motto and purpose of these exams. She urged before the students to make sure that they use their college years productively and take guidance of their respective mentors who are always eager to help the students and consequently make their college and parents proud of them.
Dr. Dhingra acknowledged the efforts of Ms. Meera and Ms. Neeru for smoothly and successfully organizing the entire event.
