Jalandhar September 11 (Jaswinder Singh Azad)- In an endeavour to foster qualities of leadership and familiarise students with the nuances of administrative functioning, the English Literary Society of PCM S.D. College for Women, Jalandhar, organised its Investiture Ceremony.
The event sought to impart students with a sense of responsibility and duty, while inspiring them to embrace discipline in their daily conduct and to hone their leadership acumen.
Dr. Aabroo Sharma, Head of the Department of English, together with other faculty members, ceremoniously adorned the enthusiastic office bearers with badges, each signifying the trust and honour vested in them.
The newly appointed office bearers included: Guneet of B.A. B.Ed Semester III as President, Mohena of B.A. B.Ed Semester III as Vice President, Krishita of B.A. B.Ed Semester III as Secretary, Prabhleen of B.A. Semester III as Secretary.
The Executive Members were Jasmine of B.A. Semester V, Bhavya of B.A. Semester I and Sadhna of B.A. Semester I.
President Shri Naresh Budhia, Senior Vice President Shri Vinod Dada, distinguished members of the Managing Committee, and the esteemed Principal, Dr. Pooja Prashar, extended their warm congratulations to the Department, its Head, Dr. Aabroo Sharma, and the newly inducted student leaders. They urged them to discharge their duties with integrity, commitment, and a pursuit of excellence. The occasion was also graced by Mrs. Gurjit Kaur, Dr. Indu Tyagi, and Mrs. Mamta Bajaj, whose presence lent a distinctive dignity to the occasion.
