MA Punjabi Students of HMV bring laurels with outstanding University Positions

Jalandhar August 6 (Jaswinder Singh Azad)- The Postgraduate Department of Punjabi of Hans Raj Mahila Maha Vidyalaya, Jalandhar, celebrated an impressive achievement in semester 4th of the Guru Nanak Dev University Examinations held in May 2026. Demonstrating academic excellence, Pooja secured the third position in the university with a CGPA of 7.95, while Gurleen Kaur secured the fifth position with a CGPA of 7.86. Principal Dr. (Mrs.) Ekta Khosla felicitated the meritorious students, the Head of the Department, Mrs. Kuljit Kaur, and the faculty members for their dedicated efforts.

Congratulating the achievers, Dr. Khosla expressed pride in their success and stated that such accomplishments reflect the institution’s strong academic culture. She encouraged the students to continue striving for excellence and wished them success in their future endeavors. Former Head of the Punjabi Department, Dr. Navroop, also congratulated the students and appreciated the faculty for their constant guidance and commitment. The occasion was attended by Dr. Mandeep Kaur, Dr. Sandeep Kaur, Mrs. Sukhwinder Kaur and Ms. Nisha, who joined in celebrating the students’ remarkable achievement.
