Jalandhar June 9 (Jaswinder Singh Azad)- The PG Department of Fashion Designing, in collaboration with the Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC) of PCM S.D. College for Women, Jalandhar organised an International Webinar on “Scope of Fashion: A Global Perspective.”
The resource person for the session was Arushi Verma, Fashion Designer, Canada. The webinar aimed to highlight the expanding horizons of the fashion industry in a global context, including emerging trends, sustainability, digital transformation, and cross-cultural influences.
The keynote speaker shared valuable insights into how globalization has reshaped fashion markets and created diverse career opportunities in areas such as fashion design, merchandising, e-retailing, and fashion communication. The session also emphasized the importance of innovation, ethical practices, and adaptability in today’s dynamic fashion landscape.
Participants actively engaged in the interactive session, making it an enriching learning experience that broadened their understanding of the global scope and future prospects of the fashion industry.
