Jalandhar May 4 (Jaswinder Singh Azad)- PCM S.D. College for Women, Jalandhar organized a Group Discussion through the joint efforts of the Youth Club and the Department of Hindi, under the aegis of Panchanad Research Institute, Punjab. The discussion was held on the theme “Role of Youth in Nation Building.”
The programme was graced by the esteemed presence of distinguished guests Mr. Kankesh Gupta and Mrs. Ritu Bala (Sadhu Ashram, Hoshiarpur), who guided the students with their insightful thoughts. Students including Kanishka, Muskan, Romal, Manu, and Jasmine actively participated in the discussion. They exchanged ideas and presented their perspectives on the topic in a comprehensive manner.
Around 38 students from B.A. and B.Ed. participated enthusiastically in the activity. During the discussion, students expressed their views on the responsibilities, duties, and contributions of youth in nation building. They also highlighted the importance of education, social awareness, technological advancement, and moral values.
The guests appreciated the students for their thoughtful participation and encouraged them to take part in such activities in the future as well. The programme concluded with a vote of thanks. The activity proved to be highly beneficial in enhancing the intellectual development and confidence of the students.
President Shri Naresh Budhia, Senior Vice President Shri Vinod Dada, other honourable members of the Managing Committee and the worthy Principal Dr. Pooja Prashar appreciated the efforts of the departments for organizing the event successfully.
