Jalandhar April 27 (Jaswinder Singh Azad)- The grand closing ceremony of Shooting Championship Season–1, held at Innocent Hearts, Sports Hub, Loharan from April 23 to April 25, 2026, concluded in a vibrant and enthusiastic atmosphere. A total of 87 participants took part in this three-day championship and showcased their excellent marksmanship skills. The championship featured 22 events, where participants demonstrated remarkable discipline, focus, and true sportsmanship.
Prestigious institutions including Mayor World School, MGN Adarsh Nagar, Police DAV School, Innocent Hearts School, Loharan, Innocent Hearts School, Green Model Town, Innocent Hearts, Kapurthala Road, Ivy World School, Swami Sant Dass School, Khalsa School Jalandhar, Khalsa College Jalandhar, CT College, CT World School, La Blossom School, DIPS Nurmahal, Manu Vatika School Mansa, Sharp Shooter Academy, and Delhi International School, Hoshiarpur participated enthusiastically. The prize distribution ceremony was graced by Deputy Director Sports Mr. Rajeev Paliwal and Principal Ms. Shallu Sehgal of Innocent Hearts School, Loharan, who awarded the winners. Mr. Abhishek Rana was also present on the occasion and congratulated all participants for their commendable performances.
In the team events, Innocent Hearts School Loharan, CT World School, Delhi International School Hoshiarpur, Manu Vatika School Mansa, Sharp Shooter Academy, Ivy World School, and Innocent Hearts School Green Model Town secured first positions in various categories. Several participants also excelled individually, winning medals and bringing laurels to their institutions. The championship proved to be an excellent platform for young shooters to showcase their talent and promote the spirit of sportsmanship. The event concluded with a vote of thanks to the organizers, coaches, and participants for their valuable contribution in making the championship a grand success.
