Jalandhar April 8 (Jaswinder Singh Azad)- Hans Raj Mahila Maha Vidyalaya, Jalandhar, continues to uphold its legacy of empowering young women to excel and emerge as champions in every field. Testifying the fact, Nivedita Karki brought laurels to the institution by winning a Gold Medal at the prestigious 2nd COAS Boxing Cup 2026 held in Pune. Along with this, she was also honoured with the coveted “Best Boxer Award” in the championship for her outstanding performance, strength, skill, and sportsmanship.
Nivedita’s splendid victory is a proud moment for the entire HMV family. Principal Dr. (Mrs.) Ekta Khosla congratulated Nivedita and expressed immense happiness over her success. She said that her achievement is a matter of immense pride for the institution and an inspiration for all young students to pursue excellence with passion, perseverance, and determination. She further added that HMV has always believed in nurturing talent and providing students with the right platform to shine in academics, sports, and all other spheres of life.
Principal Dr. Khosla also extended heartfelt congratulations to the coach, Mrs. Amitpal Kaur, for her dedicated guidance and consistent efforts in grooming the student for such a remarkable achievement.
