Jalandhar March 27 (Jaswinder Singh Azad)- Lyallpur Khalsa College Jalandhar, the leading educational institution of North India, has been making proud achievements in sports, educational and cultural fields. Under this series, Neha Sahota, a student of MA Music Vocal of the college’s postgraduate department of music, has brought glory to the college by securing first place in the folk song competition organized by the Rotary Club Jalandhar in which 11 educational institutions participated.
College Principal Dr. Rashpal Singh Sandhu congratulated Neha Sahota and the post graduate department of music for this achievement and said that students who have made outstanding achievements in cultural activities should move forward with more hard work. He assured that the college will keep providing all the possible support to these students. On this occasion, Head of the Music Department Prof. Sukhdev Singh, Prof. Kiran Amar and Mr. Bhagwat Kumar were also present.
