Jalandhar March 25 (Jaswinder Singh Azad)- A Bookmark Making Competition was successfully organized at PCM S.D. College for Women, Jalandhar, under the guidance of the Library Advisory Committee.
The event aimed to encourage creativity, reading habits, and artistic expression among students. Students enthusiastically participated in the competition and showcased their talent by designing innovative and colorful bookmarks. The themes reflected the importance of books, knowledge, and the joy of reading.
Mrs. Sonia Kumari, College Librarian, highlighted the significance of bookmarks as not just a tool for reading but also as a medium of creativity and personal expression. She encouraged students to develop a habit of reading and to value books as lifelong companions.
President Shri Naresh Budhia, Senior Vice President Shri Vinod Dada, other members of the managing committee and Principal Dr Pooja Prashar appreciated the efforts of the Library Advisory Committee and applauded the students for their active participation and creativity.
