Jalandhar March 25 (Jaswinder Singh Azad)- The Kalidas Dramatic Club and Arya Yuvati Sabha of Hans Raj Mahila Maha Vidyalaya, Jalandhar successfully organized a workshop on theatre and stage performance under the able guidance of Principal Dr. Ekta Khosla. The workshop was aimed at nurturing students’ acting abilities, enhancing their stage confidence, and familiarizing them with the finer nuances of theatrical presentation. Principal Dr. Ekta Khosla emphasized that such workshops play a vital role in the holistic development of students. She encouraged the participants to make the most of such enriching learning experiences.
During the workshop, Dr. Kajal Puri, Dr. Meenu Talwar and Ms. Jyoti Sehgal shed light on various significant aspects of theatre, including fundamental acting techniques, dialogue delivery, facial expressions, stagecraft, and character portrayal. The students were also provided with practical exposure through interactive activities and demonstrations, enabling them to gain a deeper understanding of dramatic performance and the art of stage presentation. The students participated in the workshop with great enthusiasm and keen interest.
