Jalandhar March 9 (Jaswinder Singh Azad)- The PG Department of Computer Science at Apeejay College of Fine Arts, Jalandhar organised a series of engaging competitions under the banner “TECH VIBES 2026” through its IT Forum. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from students representing various departments of the college.
A range of intellectually stimulating competitions were conducted, including Debugging, Mobile App Idea Presentation, Net Savvy, Graphic Designing, and Web Designing. Students participated with great enthusiasm and demonstrated impressive technical aptitude, creativity, and innovative thinking.
Principal Dr. Neerja Dhingra congratulated the winners and participants and observed that such initiatives play a vital role in the holistic development of students. She remarked that education extends beyond the classroom, and active participation in academic and co-curricular competitions nurtures creativity, critical thinking, and technological awareness among learners. She further noted that consistent involvement in such activities not only strengthens self-confidence but also broadens intellectual perspectives and encourages students to explore innovative solutions in the rapidly evolving digital world.
Appreciating the dedicated efforts behind the successful organisation of the event, she commended Dr. Rupali Sood, Dr. Jagmohan Mago, Pallavi Mehta, and Harpreet Kaur for their commitment and initiative. She encouraged them to continue organising such meaningful programmes so that students are provided with platforms to showcase their abilities, refine their skills, and channel their energy and talent in a constructive direction.
