Jalandhar March 3 (Jaswinder Singh Azad)- Hans Raj Mahila Maha Vidyalaya, Jalandhar, witnessed a unique celebration of colours and consciousness as the Environment Club, in collaboration with the Fashionista Club, organized the vibrant “Eco-Rang Utsav” under the motivation of Principal Dr. Ekta Khosla. The primary objective of the event was to sensitize students towards environmental conservation and to inspire them to celebrate traditional festivals like Holi in a natural and eco-friendly manner. The event featured various competitions, with Card Making and Rangoli Making being the highlights.
Through their creative expressions, students beautifully showcased the importance of environmental protection, the use of natural colours, and glimpses of rich Indian culture. The enthusiasm and artistic flair of the participants filled the campus with festive spirit. Several engaging activities added charm to the celebration, including Rang Revolution, Vibrant Vibes, Holihut, Home Decor, Holi Delicacies Corner, Selfie Corner, Decoration Corner, and Tattoo and Face Painting Corner. These activities not only provided enjoyment but also encouraged the use of eco-friendly products.
The event was successfully organised by Mrs. Navneeta, Incharge of the Fashionista Club, and Dr. Sakshi Verma, Incharge of the Environment Club. Principal Dr. Ekta Khosla appreciated the enthusiasm and creativity of the students and remarked that such initiatives foster responsibility and positive thinking towards the environment. Expressing her happiness over the successful organization of “Eco-Rang Utsav,” she emphasized that such programmes promote cultural values and environmental sensitivity among students.
She congratulated the organizing teams and participants for their commendable efforts. A large number of students participated enthusiastically and pledged to spread the message of an eco-friendly holi in society. The event proved to be a beautiful confluence of knowledge, creativity, and joy.
