Jalandhar January 14 (Jaswinder Singh Azad)- Under the able guidance of Principal, Dr. (Mrs.) Ekta Khosla, Dhian Di Lohri was celebrated with great enthusiasm at the hostel of Hans Raj Mahila Maha Vidyalaya.
Principal Dr. Khosla extended her heartfelt Lohri greetings to all hostel students and staff members. Highlighting the significance of the festival, she remarked that Lohri inspires individuals to be hardworking, dedicated, and diligent in their pursuits. She motivated the students to continue progressing through sincere efforts and determination and to remain focused on achieving their life goals.
The Principal further emphasized that girls are in no way less capable than boys in any field, and such celebrations reinforce confidence, cultural pride, and unity among students. She congratulated the entire hostel staff for the successful organization of the event. The celebration was enlivened by vibrant performances of Giddha and Bhangra presented by the resident scholars, adding a festive charm to the evening.
At the conclusion of the programme, peanuts, revri, and sweets were distributed among all present. The celebration concluded on a joyful note with everyone enjoying a delightful dinner together, strengthening bonds of harmony and shared celebration. On this occasion Dean Resident Scholars Dr. Meenu Talwar and Hostel Wardens Mrs. Jasbir Kaur, Ms. Kalaj, Ms. Amanjot Kaur were also present.
