Apeejay College of Fine Arts Students Secure Top Three Positions under the Skill India Initiative

Jalandhar January 12 (Jaswinder Singh Azad)- Students of Apeejay College of Fine Arts, Jalandhar continue to bring laurels to the institution through their consistent achievements in academics, sports, and cultural activities. Adding another proud milestone, the students delivered an outstanding performance under the Skill India initiative launched by the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship, Government of India.

As part of this prestigious initiative, competitions were organized for participants from 36 states and Union Territories across the country. Representing Punjab in the Painting and Decorating competition, Kavya Sharma secured the first position, Vanshika Thakur won the second position, and Diya Talwar achieved the third position, thereby making the college immensely proud. These students will now proceed to showcase their talent at the national level.

Expressing her delight over this remarkable achievement, Principal Dr. Neerja Dhingra congratulated the winning students and encouraged them to continue honing their skills with dedication and discipline. She expressed confidence that their perseverance would help them achieve further success at the national level and beyond.

Dr. Dhingra also appreciated the sincere efforts of the event coordinators, Ms. Rajni Gupta and Mr. Anil Gupta, for their constant guidance and mentorship. She commended their role in motivating students to actively participate in various competitions organized by the Government of India, thereby nurturing skill development, creativity, and professional excellence among students.
