Jalandhar January 11 (Jaswinder Singh Azad)- Under the Swarnim Bharat theme of the ongoing 7 day NSS camp at Apeejay College of Fine Arts, Jalandhar, students were taken on an educational excursion to Sadda Pind, Amritsar, on the third day. The primary objective of this visit was to acquaint students with India’s rich and diverse cultural heritage.
A total of 50 NSS volunteers participated in the visit to Sadda Pind. Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Neerja Dhingra shared that Apeejay College has always remained committed to connecting students with their cultural roots. As part of this initiative, the educational tour to Sadda Pind was organized so that students could witness elements of India’s rich heritage that are gradually fading in modern times, thereby helping them recognize and appreciate their cultural legacy.
She especially appreciated the efforts of Dr. Simki Dev, Dean NSS for taking this initiative. Ms. Ritu, Dr. Raman Dhadra, and Mr. Sanjeev were also present along with the students during the visit.
