Jalandhar December 23 (Jaswinder Singh Azad)- Innocent Hearts Schools, across all campuses at Green Model Town, Loharan, Cantt. –Jandiala Road, Kapurthala Road and Noorpur Road, celebrated Christmas with great enthusiasm and festive fervour. The celebrations reflected joy, creativity and a strong sense of social and environmental responsibility. The festivities began with the Pre-Primary Wing, where the Blooming Buds from Pre-Nursery to UKG marked the occasion with innocence and delight. The campuses were beautifully adorned with stars, gifts and splendidly decorated Christmas trees, creating an atmosphere filled with cheer and happiness.
Young learners were sensitised about the birth of Lord Jesus Christ and the legend of Santa Claus, reinforcing timeless values of love, kindness, sharing and generosity. Dressed in red and white, the children truly embodied the spirit of ‘share and care’, which remained the essence of the celebration. Extending the festive cheer further, students from Grade I to Grade VIII actively participated in a series of creative and eco-conscious Christmas activities organised alignment with SDG–13 (Climate Action).
Conducted under the supervision of Grade Mentors and the Arts Department, the celebrations blended joy with creativity, collaboration and environmental awareness. Age-appropriate activities included Christmas Tree Decoration for Grade I, Christmas Cap Making for Grade II, Bell Decoration for Grades III–IV and Cookie Decoration for Grade V.
Adding a competitive yet collaborative element, students of Grades VII and VIII enthusiastically participated in an inter-house dessert-making activity titled ‘Delicacies for Sweet Tooth’, organised under the guidance of House Mentors with peer support. The celebrations not only spread festive cheer but also nurtured creativity, teamwork and responsible celebration practices, making Christmas a truly meaningful and memorable experience for students from the Pre-Primary Wing to Grade VIII.
