Jalandhar December 8 (Jaswinder Singh Azad)- Hans Raj Mahila Maha Vidyalaya proudly celebrates the stellar achievement of its outstanding cyclist, Niya Sebastain, who has brought laurels to the institution by winning three gold medals at the Khelo India University Games 2025. She secured 1st position in Team Sprint, 1st in Individual Sprint, and 1st in Keirin, showcasing determination, strength, and technique.
Niya’s victory at the national platform is a continuation of her remarkable journey which includes Gold Medal in Team Sprint, Asian Championship 2024, 6th Position in World Championship 2024. She secured a silver medal in Individual Sprint, bronze in Team Sprint and Individual Team Trial in National Championship 2024. Her exemplary performance at both national and international levels stands as an inspiration for young athletes and reflects her unwavering commitment to her sport.
Principal Prof. (Dr.) Ekta Khosla congratulated Niya on her glorious victory and applauded the dedicated efforts of Sports department.
