Jalandhar December 3 (Jaswinder Singh Azad)- The Department of Fine Arts, Hans Raj Mahila Maha Vidyalaya, Jalandhar, has brought pride to the institution with the remarkable achievement of Preeti Gupta, a dedicated and talented student of BFA 7th Semester, who has brought immense glory to the institution through her outstanding artistic excellence. Preeti Gupta secured First Prize in the Zonal Youth Festival 2025 followed by an exceptional performance at the Inter-Zonal Youth Festival 2025, again securing First Position, both organized under the aegis of Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar. Carrying forward her streak of excellence, Preeti has now achieved the First Position at the Intervarsity Youth Festival held at GNDU, Amritsar.

Competing against students of top universities of India, she has represented the institution with dignity, confidence, and exceptional skill. Hans Raj Mahila Maha Vidyalaya extends its warmest congratulations to her and wishes her a continued success in all her future endeavors. Over the years, Preeti has consistently excelled in various prestigious competitions. She secured 2nd prize in the Art and Science Competition at Science City (2022), 3rd prize in the Foundation Day Competition at GNDU, Amritsar (2022), 1st prize at the District Level Painting Competition (2024), 2nd prize in the Zonal Youth Festival (2024), and 3rd prize in Lit Fiesta at Khalsa University (2024).

In 2025, she received a consolation prize in the International Women’s Day Competition held at Science City, 1st prize in the Flowers Day Competition held at LPU, 2nd prize in the Inter-College Fiesta held at CT Group of Institutions, a cash prize of ₹5000 in the KT Kala competition and many more. The department expressed its heartfelt gratitude to the respected Principal Dr. (Mrs.) Ekta Khosla, whose constant encouragement, vision, and support have been instrumental in shaping an environment where creativity and excellence flourish.
