Jalandhar December 3 (Jaswinder Singh Azad)- The Department of Computer Science and Applications (CSA) at DAV University successfully organized its annual two-day Techfest “Win n Rar 3.0”, bringing together students, faculty, and technology enthusiasts for an engaging platform of innovation and creativity.

The fest emphasized the importance of emerging technologies and encouraged students to sharpen their practical, analytical, and creative skills. A wide range of technical, innovative, and cultural competitions were held, including Frame Forge: The Motion Design Challenge, Byte the Bug, Web Storm, Mind Speak, Code War, Vibe Shots, Battle of the Beats, Tech-Cs2 LAN Tournament, QuizaByte, IT Alchemists, Logo Battle, PPT Showdown, Tech Tales, and Tech-Tastic Rangoli.
More than 400 participants from various colleges and departments took part in the fest, showcasing projects and performances inspired by Artificial Intelligence, IoT, and Cloud Computing.
During the closing ceremony, the university leadership commended the efforts behind the event. Prof (Dr) Manoj Kumar, Vice-Chancellor, DAV University, remarked, “TechFest 2025 has demonstrated the outstanding talent and innovative spirit of our students. Events like these strengthen our commitment to creating a technologically empowered learning environment.”
Prof (Dr) S K Arora, Registrar, DAV University, appreciated the coordination and participation, stating,“Win n Rar 3.0 reflects the university’s focus on practical learning and multidisciplinary thinking. I congratulate the organizers, faculty, and students for making this event a remarkable success.”
Expressing gratitude, Dr. Arvind Mahindru, along with all event coordinators, thanked the management, sponsors, volunteers, and participants for their contributions in making the event impactful. The TechFest concluded with energetic cultural performances and a vote of thanks.
