Jalandhar November 17 (Jaswinder Singh Azad)- Commemorating the birth anniversary of Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru, Children’s Day was celebrated at PCM S.D. Collegiate Senior Secondary School with great zeal and enthusiasm.
On this ocassion various sports activities were organised including Kho Kho, Lemon and Spoon Race and a Three- Leg Race under the guidance of Mrs. Harwinder Kaur and Ms. Manpreet Kaur.
Mrs. Monica, Mrs. Ruhi, Mrs. Nitika, and Mrs. Neetu were also present to cheer the students. The participants displayed great enthusiasm and energy throughout the games.
In the Three-Leg race, Kashish and Monalika of Class XI secured the first position, Kashish and Manyata of Class XII won the second position, and Amrit and Drishti of Class XI bagged the third position. Kho-Kho competition was won by XII class.
Tanu of XII got first, shrishti of XII got second and Nisha of XII got third position in the Lemon and Spoon Race. The event concluded with the distribution of sweets and a group photo session, making the day truly memorable. It was a delightful celebration that strengthened the bond between teachers and students.
President Shri Naresh Budhia, Senior Vice President Shri Vinod Dada, other members of the managing committee, Principal Dr. Pooja Prashar and Mrs. Sushma Sharma, Incharge of the Collegiate Block, appreciated the sincere efforts of teachers for organizing such events for the overall development of students.
