Jalandhar November 15 (Jaswinder Singh Azad)- Under Disha – An Initiative of the Bowry Memorial Educational and Medical Trust, the Annual Prize Distribution Ceremony LEAP (Leadership Excellence in Academic Performance) Awards – 2025 was organised at Innocent Hearts School, Green Model Town, with the vibrant theme ‘Beat Beyond Boundaries’. Students from all five campuses of Innocent Hearts School (Green Model Town, Loharan ,Cantt. Jandiala Road ,Noorpur Road, and Kapurthala Road) participated with great enthusiasm. Mr. Naveen Singla (IPS), DIG Jalandhar Range & Director, Vigilance Bureau, Punjab, graced the event as the Chief Guest.
Mrs Neha Singla was the guest of Honour . The ceremony commenced with the lighting of the lamp by the Chief Guest and other distinguished dignitaries, with the chanting of Maa Saraswati’s mantras and a soulful Shiv Vandana. Following this, students presented a spectacular dance performance on the theme ‘ Beat Beyond Boundaries’, showcasing the cultural uniqueness of the Seven Continents. From Asia to Antarctica, each continent was brought alive on stage through beautifully choreographed performances, allowing the audience to experience the diversity of the world on a single platform.
Dr. Palak Gupta Bowry (Director CSR) highlighted the commendable work undertaken by the Bowry Memorial Educational and Medical Trust under the Disha Initiative. She shared that the Trust has achieved remarkable milestones not only in the field of education but also in the medical sector. She emphasized the Trust’s continuous efforts towards youth welfare and its commitment to incorporating advanced technology to bring innovation to teaching practices.
A trophy was awarded to Sargun from the Loharan campus and Avneet Kaur from the Noorpur campus
The Chief Guest Mr. Naveen Singla, Mrs. Neha Singla, Dr. Anup Bowry (Chairman, Innocent Hearts Group), and Dr. Palak Gupta Bowry honoured the meritorious students who scored above 90% in Classes 10 and 12 CBSE Board examinations, presenting them with awards in recognition of their academic excellence. Mr Dinesh Aggarwal, In memory of his late son, Archit Aggarwal, Mr. Dinesh Aggarwal presented the Best Student of the Year Award to Ishita from Green Model Town . Similarly, in memory of the Founder Director Mrs. Kamlesh Bowry, a trophy was awarded to Sargun from the Loharan campus and Avneet Kaur from the Noorpur campus.
Each student received a trophy along with a cash prize of ₹5100. Trustee Mr. Sandeep Jain, Finance Advisor Mr. K.K. Sareen, and other dignitaries felicitated outstanding performers from all five campuses in the fields of dance, music, acting, science, and technology. Scholarships were also awarded to deserving students.The Chief Guest appreciated the vibrant cultural performances presented by the students and applauded the efforts of the Bowry Memorial Educational and Medical Trust for its dedicated service to society and its commitment to nurturing the holistic development of children.
The event was graced by Mrs. Shally Bowry (Executive Director – Schools & HR), Mrs. Aradhna Bowry (Executive Director – Colleges), and other esteemed members of the Trust. The Chief Guest was presented with a memento as a token of respect and gratitude.The programme concluded with the National Anthem, while the Student Council admirably managed the stage proceedings.
