Jalandhar November 14 (Jaswinder Singh Azad)- The teaching and non-teaching members of Hans Raj Mahila Maha Vidyalaya family organized a welcome party in the honor of newly appointed Principal Dr. Mrs. Ekta Khosla. The ceremony started with lighting of the lamp. IQAC Coordinator Dr. Anjana Bhatia welcomed Dr. Khosla on behalf of HMV family and said that under the guidance of Principal Dr. Khosla, HMV will surely attain newer heights.
Dr. Khosla is an excellent administrator, balanced personality and a very good teacher. Dean Academics Dr. Seema Marwaha, Dean Youth Welfare Dr. Navroop, Staff Secretary Mrs. Kuljit Kaur and Joint Staff Secretary Dr. Saloni Sharma presented a bouquet to Madam Principal. Faculty Incharges Mrs. Deepshika, Dr. Ashmeen, Mrs. Meenu Kohli, Dr. Sangeeta Arora, Dr. Rakhi and Dr. Mamta also presented a planter to Dr. Khosla.

Dr. Navroop Kaur expressed her feelings and gave best wishes to Dr. Khosla for her new innings and presented a poem. Dr. Mamta said that Dr. Khosla has many qualities in her personality like sensitivity and dedication. Mrs. Deepshikha, Mrs. Kuljit Kaur, Dr. Harpreet Singh and Dr. Gagandeep also expressed their feelings.
The staff members gave assurance to her to work with full commitment. Principal Dr. Ekta Khosla expressed her gratitude for such a warm welcome and said that she is feeling blessed on her appointment as Principal of such a great institution. She said that she is feeling proud on getting the responsibility of a top notch institute. HMV is recognized as the top most institution of northern India.
She paid gratitude to Mahatma Hans Raj ji, Maharishi Dayanand ji and thanked President DAVCMC Dr. Punam Suri ji and said that as Team HMV we will together work for making this institution top most institution of the whole country. On this occasion, Music Vocal Department presented songs in the form of Guldasta. Dr. Saloni Sharma presented vote of thanks and gave assurance on behalf of HMV family for full support and cooperation.
