Jalandhar November 8 (Jaswinder Singh Azad)- PG Department of Fashion Designing of PCM S.D. College for Women celebrated National Entrepreneurship Day in collaboration with Institution’s Innovation Council and Incubation Cell by organising a Guest Lecture on ‘Entrepreneurs as Nation Builders: Driving Innovation and Employment’.
The resource person of the session was Ms Priya, Assistant Professor in Fashion Designing, Trinity Institute of Management, Jalandhar. She shared valuable insights into how entrepreneurship acts as a catalyst for innovation, self-reliance, and employment generation. The speaker emphasized that entrepreneurs not only create businesses but also build communities, empower others, and contribute to national development through creative problem-solving and sustainable ventures.
During the session, students were encouraged to think beyond traditional career paths and explore opportunities for innovation in emerging sectors.
President Shri Naresh Budhia, Senior Vice President Shri Vinod Dada, other members of the managing committee and Principal Dr Pooja Prashar applauded the department and the Cell for holding such a fruitful lecture rooted in entrepreneurial and employment skills which are increasingly imperative in today’s global times.
