Jalandhar November 6 (Jaswinder Singh Azad)- The Design Department of Hans Raj Mahila Maha Vidyalaya organized a three day Design Workshop titled “Expressions of Budding Entrepreneurs and their start ups” in collaboration with Pidilite. Renowned artist Mrs. Navdeep Kaur was the resource person of the workshop. Various Design possibilities and thinking aspects were discussed. Empathize, define, ideate, prototype and final design product is explained and experimented with artists and designers.
The goal of the workshop is to come up with solutions, products or services that are desirable for the design user, economically viable from a business perspective technologically feasible. Very important principles of empathy, thinking and experimentation were the keywords of the workshop. Various textures, surfaces, effects etc. are developed by the students.
A fruitful workshop ended up with the words of appreciation and enthusiasm by Principal Prof. Dr. (Mrs.) Ekta Khosla. She said that learning about new techniques is very important for the students. On this occasion, Head of Department Dr. Rakhi Mehta and faculty members Ms. Ritika, Ms. Manika and Ms. Ravneet Kaur were present there.
