Jalandhar September 25 (Jaswinder Singh Azad)- In a grand and vibrant celebration of student leadership, Apeejay College of Fine Arts, Jalandhar, hosted the Investiture Ceremony of the Student Central Association (SCA) and Youth Club, marking the official induction of student leaders for the academic session. This much-awaited annual event symbolised the spirit of empowerment and responsibility as the newly selected core members, in-charges, and co-incharges of the student bodies were formally appointed.
The Student Central Association (SCA)—the largest and most dynamic student body at ACFA—serves as a powerful platform to instil leadership, discipline, teamwork, and organisational skills. This year, the SCA will operate through 13 meticulously structured committees, including: Event Management, Discipline, Placement, Alumni, Canteen, Hospitality, Women’s Cell, Publicity, and more. Students from various streams have been carefully selected to take on key roles as committee members and leaders.
The ceremony commenced with a warm and heartfelt welcome to Principal Dr Neerja Dhingra, delivered by Dr Jagmohan Mago, Dr Munish Gupta, Dr Payal Arora, and Dr Vishav Bandhu Verma. Their words set the tone for a day of pride, purpose, and promise.Dr Jagmohan Mago, Dean of SCA & Youth Club, addressed the gathering and highlighted how these student bodies serve as vital links between the student community, faculty, and college administration, while also helping students evolve into confident and responsible individuals.
A moment of special pride came with the announcement and felicitation of: Head Boy: Akshat Sharma,Head Girl: Yuvika, along with all newly elected committee heads, co-heads, and volunteers who will drive the SCA and Youth Club’s vision forward.

The Oath-Taking Ceremony—a solemn and dignified moment—was conducted by DrVishav Bandhu Verma, where the student office-bearers pledged to uphold the college’s values, maintain discipline, and serve with honesty and dedication. The atmosphere was charged with a sense of pride, patriotism and responsibility as the badges were presented and the students took their oaths with conviction.
In her inspiring address, Principal Dr Neerja Dhingra congratulated the newly appointed student leaders, motivating them to serve with commitment, integrity, and excellence. She emphasised that, “True success is not just academic brilliance, but the confidence to communicate, lead, and actively contribute to college life.”
