Jalandhar September 10 (Jaswinder Singh Azad)- The Department of Commerce, under the aegis of the MAC Forum, at Apeejay College of Fine Arts, Jalandhar, organized an Inter-Class Business Case Study Competition. The event aimed to cultivate critical thinking, teamwork, and professional presentation skills among students by offering them a vibrant and competitive platform.
Students of B.Com.and BBA first semester participated with great enthusiasm, forming nine teams in total. Each group presented case studies of renowned companies, narrating the challenges faced by these corporations over time and the strategic solutions that helped them achieve resilience and growth. The presentations were creatively designed with 8–10 slides and enriched with role-playing enactments, which brought corporate scenarios alive before the audience.

The competition was judged on creativity of presentation, innovation in PowerPoint design, and the effectiveness of enactment. After a spirited contest, the team Lahori Jeera won the first prize, the team titled Netflix and the team titled Bournvita together secured the second prize, while the team Boat and the team Haldiram jointly bagged the third prize. A consolation prize was awarded to the team Jio for their commendable effort. Certificates were presented to all the winners in recognition of their outstanding performance.
On this occasion, Principal Dr. Neerja Dhingra lauded the efforts of the participants and remarked that competitions such as these empower students to bridge the gap between theory and practice. By analyzing corporate case studies and presenting solutions with creativity and confidence, she emphasized, the students are developing into professionals who can meet challenges with innovation, resilience, and teamwork. She admired Dr. Monika Mogla, Head, Department of Commerce and Ms. Garima Arora, Dean MAC Forum for successfully organizing the event.
