Jalandhar August 29 (Jaswinder Singh Azad)- Dr. Sumit Singh Padam, a distinguished Sitarist and Assistant Professor in the Department of Music (Instrumental) at Apeejay College of Fine Arts, Jalandhar, has brought immense distinction to the institution with his recent performance on a highly prestigious national platform.

Hailing from a family of accomplished musicians, Dr. Sumit continues to inspire as both a performer and educator. He was recently invited to perform at an eminent music concert held at Hyderabad House, New Delhi, hosted by the Honourable Prime Minister of India, Shri Narendra Modi, in honour of the President of Paraguay, H.E. Mr. Santiago Peña.

Dr. Sumit Singh Padam mesmerized the audience with his virtuosity on the Sitar, performing a captivating duet with flutist Shri Shadaj Godkhindi from Bangalore, accompanied by Shri Rajnish Mishra on the tabla. Their jugalbandi of Sitar and Flute received widespread acclaim from the dignitaries present, creating a memorable cultural exchange between India and Paraguay.
