PCM SD College for Women holds Workshop on “Hands-On Mathematics and Science”


Jalandhar March 31 (Jaswinder Singh Azad)- The Department of Mathematics and the Department of Science collaborated by organising a workshop on “Hands-on Mathematics and Science”.

The primary objective of this workshop was to advocate for practical learning experiences, thereby revolutionizing traditional teaching methodologies.

Led by Shiksha Ratan and Dr. Jaswinder Singh, a World Record Holder known for running Mathematics and Science Laboratory on wheels for the longest duration, the workshop aimed to transform teaching practices through experiential learning opportunities.

Dr. Singh’s expertise guided participants through interactive session, focusing on math activities, science experiments, and the integration of technology to enhance student engagement and understanding.

President Shri Naresh Budhia, Senior Vice President Shri Vinod Dada, along with other esteemed members of the Management Committee, and the worthy Principal Prof. Dr. Pooja Prashar, congratulated the students for their active participation. They also commended the efforts of the Department of Mathematics and the Department of Science for organizing such an impactful workshop.
