Jalandhar December 5 (Jaswinder Singh Azad)- The Department of the School of Pharmacy at Lyallpur Khalsa College Technical Campus organized an expert talk on Current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP). The circular was provided by the Indian Drug Manufacturers’ Association to celebrate National cGMP Day. Dr. Anshul Chawla, a Professor from CT Institute of Pharmaceutical Science, served as the resource person and shared her extensive knowledge on various cGMP topics, including Quality Control, Quality Assurance, Documentation and Record Keeping, Personnel, Facilities and Equipment, Raw Materials, Production and Process Controls, and Packaging and Labeling.

Dr. Anshul Chawla elaborated on the core principles that are universally applied and considered mandatory in cGMP regulations to ensure the safety, efficacy, and quality of products.

The session concluded with a vote of thanks, during which S. Sukhbir Singh Chatha (Director, Academic Affairs, KCL Group of Institutes), Dr. R.S. Deol (Director, LKCTC), and Mr. Kapil Kanwar (Principal, School of Pharmacy) commended the efforts of the organizing committee. They encouraged the faculty members to maintain their enthusiasm and continue organizing such events in the future.
