Jalandhar November 19 (Jaswinder Singh Azad)- The PG Mass Communication and Video Production Department of Hans Raj Mahila Maha Vidyalaya, Jalandhar organized a DBT sponsored workshop on Soft Skill and Leadership. The resource person was Mr. Ishan Sood, Founder of Advant Edge and alumnae of Christ University, Bangalore. Principal Prof. Dr. (Mrs.) Ajay Sareen welcomed him with planter. Mr. Ishan Sood told the students in detail about public speaking. He also gave tips on Hard and Soft Skills.
He said that 70% communication done by us in non-verbal, 20% is the content and 10% communication is the art of delivering a message. He told the students about Power of Pauses in speech and unique Value Proposition. He told that a speaker can be judged on the basis of content voice modulation, body language and fillers. He also conducted an activity on Public Speaking with the students. Head of Department Dr. Rama Sharma presented vote of thanks and told the students about the importance of Public Speaking. Mrs. Jyoti Sehgal, Ms. Radhika, Ms. Gaytri were also present.
